Dr. Meghan VermillionDr. Meghan Vermillion received her DVM from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. She completed a residency in laboratory animal medicine with Johns Hopkins Research Animal Resources as well as a PhD in the Cellular and Molecular Medicine Graduate Program at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2018.
Her work in the Metcalf Pate Lab focused on the effect of housing environment on platelet activation in pigtailed macaques. She is currently working as a veterinary research scientist at Lovelace Respiratory Research Institute in New Mexico. |

Alicia Braxton received her DVM from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. She is pursuing a residency in laboratory animal medicine through Johns Hopkins Research Animal Resources.
